Byerley Park comes complete with a warm-up track, figure eight schooling jumps, lunging rings, tie-ups, wash bays and viewing box with future plans including a possible bed and breakfast and cafe for visiting owners and tourists wanting to experience the day to day horse training atmosphere and a training academy for younger people wanting to learn about the thoroughbred industry and horsemanship.

The concept started in 2004 and what has been created is an 800m straight rising gallop on three different surfaces joining a 1600m circular track with a 400m straight.

Our aim is to create the best track possible using the best engineering advice and common sense horsemanship. We have got a fantastic Woodhill sand track with a low impact base surface which, together with an Australian cooch grass track, gives the best of all worlds.
